Hosted Virtual Desktop

Windows-Based Desktop

A user friendly Windows-based virtual desktop allows users to access applications, files, and folders from any device, anywhere. Designed to look and perform like a local PC, no additional training is required. The Desktop includes the latest version of the Microsoft Office Suite Standard.

CITRIX Performance

The optimization and capability of the Citrix ICA protocol ensures the best user experience and adaptability of any virtual desktop available today. Access and run local printers, scanners, and webcams directly from the CloudConnect Desktop.

Any Device, Anywhere

Users gain access to their CloudConnect Desktop utilizing any internet capable device. Using your choice of either a local plugin or HTML5 client, the platform supports tablets, smartphones, laptops, and desktops, whether PC or Apple.

Low Bandwidth Requirements

The CloudConnect Desktop has low bandwidth requirements. By consuming only approximately 25% of the bandwidth of a traditional RDP client, there is significantly less burden on existing internet.

Peripheral Device Compatibility

Device flow-through allows the Virtual Desktop to recognize locally installed peripheral device drivers such as those for printers and webcams. Print as you would with your native PC. Network printers may also be utilized by configuring the device at the administrator level.

Software Assurance

Microsoft's Office Suite Standard comes included with every Desktop user account. As a certified Microsoft Hosting Partner, CloudConnect makes available every Microsoft desktop and server application. Software assurance ensures that users have access to the latest application version by providing ability to upgrade to the latest release.

Application Compatibility

Third-party line of business applications can be installed within the CloudConnect environment as they would any traditional client-server environment. CloudConnect maintains a high degree of application compatibility. Hundreds of applications are proven compatible with the platform, including many legacy applications. In addition, users have ability to launch just a single application or launch the entire Windows Desktop.
